CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Troopers were investigating a deadly crash in Cabarrus County early Friday morning.
Authorities were called to the crash just before 5 a.m. on Lower Rocky River Road, near the Mecklenburg County line.

Troopers told Channel 9 that a man was killed when the truck he was driving ran off the road and crashed into a tree.
That person's name has not been released.
No other vehicles were involved and nobody else was in the truck.
Authorities had the road blocked at Morrison Road while they investigated, and reopened it around 8:15 a.m.
