• Troopers search for hit-and-run victim on I-85


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Troopers are searching for the victim of a hit and run on Interstate 85.

    Officers said they believe someone was hit on the highway just after 8 p.m. Monday, then went over to sit on a guard rail.

    Officers believe the victim may have fallen off the guard rail into the woods behind it.

    Officers are using a search dog in their efforts to find the victim and at least one southbound lane is closed.
