HICKORY, N.C. - North Carolina Highway Patrol troopers were investigating a crash on Interstate 40 Friday morning.

Troopers said a truck flipped over in the eastbound lanes, just off the exit from Highway 321 in Hickory around 8 a.m.

It was raining very hard at the time of the crash but investigators have not said if that contributed to the accident.

The driver was able to climb out of the truck by himself and will be OK.
