Union Co. health director placed on administrative leave

UNION COUNTY, N.C. — Union County's Health Director Phillip Tarte was placed on administrative leave after officials called for an investigation into him.
 
They said he created a health board foundation without their knowledge.
 
Now leaders have questions about the foundation and its funding.
 
Channel 9 will continue to ask questions about the investigation and what's next for Union County.
