CHARLOTTE — Novant Health is starting to see the demand for COVID-19 vaccines ramp back up with the threat of the delta variant.
Hospital staff members told Channel 9 reporter DaShawn Brown they have seen an increase in school-aged children and workers who must get the vaccine to be employed.
“When we started this in late February, we were seeing an average of 800 to 1,000 per day,” said Phillip Melton, manager of Novant Health Clinic Services.
