CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers responded to a home on Dedmon Drive just after 1 p.m. after receiving an assault with a deadly weapon call.
Upon arrival, officers said they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
MEDIC told Channel 9 that the victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made at this point.
