Vigil held for missing Rowan Co. teen Erica Parsons

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — The biological mother of Erica Parsons, and dozens of others remembered the missing Rowan County teenager with candles and balloons.
 
They released those balloons into the sky with messages taped onto them.
 
Carolyn Parsons told Channel 9 she will never stop searching for her biological daughter.
 
"It shouldn't quit or be forgotten until she is found and that's what a real mama does," Carolyn Parsons said.
 
Carolyn Parsons planned the vigil and she said she will never stop searching for answers.
 
This week marked one year since Erica Parsons was reported missing.
 
Erica Parsons' adoptive parents, Sandy Parsons and Casey Parsons, were arrested and charged this week with 76 federal counts of fraud.
 
Casey Parsons and Sandy Parsons were fitted with electronic monitor bracelets Thursday at the federal probation office in Fayetteville.
 
A federal judge released the Parsons on bond Wednesday.
 
The Parsons cannot break any laws while they're awaiting trial and must remain in the eastern part of the state.
