CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Monday there will be a visitation for a well-known Charlotte character who was killed last week.
William Larry Major, more commonly known as Chilly Willy, was hit and killed while crossing 7th Street.
Several people have been hit in the same spot.
The visitation for Major will be Monday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the church of Jesus Christ, which is located on East 36th Street in Charlotte's NoDa neighborhood.
