CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A portion of the eastbound lanes on Wilkinson Boulevard will be closed until Thursday due to a water main break, according to Charlotte Water.
The lanes police had to shut down are between Remount and Berryhill roads.
Officials have not said what caused the rupture.
By 8 a.m, crews were able to reopen one lane but the other will be closed through the afternoon.
