Water main break shuts down east Charlotte road

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A water main break Monday morning has shut down an east Charlotte road for hours.

The break happened around 8:15 p.m. on Shamrock Drive near Herrin Avenue off The Plaza.

Officials shut down Shamrock Drive as crews work to fix the issue.
