Three horses were killed Monday in the roof collapse.

3 Horses Die In Roof Collapse Operators are carefully peeling apart the roof of the Sunnyside Arena near Bessemer City to remove the 3 horses that died. The weight of the snow bent thick steel beams and brought down the metal roof about the length of a football field.
