CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This uptown restaurant hopes to reopen in the next few months — though repair work has yet to begin following a three-alarm fire at the end of September.

Rooster’s Wood-Fired Kitchen has been closed since that accidental fire started in its kitchen hood system. The restaurant is located in the 1 Bank of America Center building on North College Street.
“The fire was contained to the exhaust system, but other areas of the restaurant suffered smoke and water damage from both the fire and the firefighting efforts,” says chef Jim Noble.
