CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There's no question that home prices, when looking back a year ago, have increased across the Charlotte metro during the first half of 2019.
The median price of a home that sold in the greater Charlotte region between January and June rose 5 percent to $250,000. The median price during that same six-month period in 2018 was $238,000.
Pinpointing where in the Charlotte area sales prices are seeing the steepest gains — or drops — is the focus of part two of the Charlotte Business Journal's four-piece series that dials in on activity in the local home resale market during the first half of the year.
