Woman claims she was kicked out of nursing program after being sexually harassed

CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte woman said she was days away from finishing her degree to become a certified nurse anesthetist, but speaking up about sexual harassment got her kicked out of the program.

Autumn Davis claims that when she reported a superior’s inappropriate behavior in the operating room, she faced retaliation. Now she’s fighting two legal battles to get her degree.

“They used their power to withhold my diploma,” Davis said.
