Woman faces over a dozen charges after high-speed chase

GASTONIA — Police said Kimberly Rowland and William Sloan led police on a high-speed chase through Gastonia on Friday.

Police say they grabbed a man's wallet, then pulled him into their car as they drove away, dragging him.

Authorities chased the couple through Gastonia then lost them in York County.

Hours later, they were spotted again in their white SUV.

Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene as the chase ended with stop sticks.

Police say Rowland rammed a police cruiser three times. She faces more than a dozen charges.
