TROUTMAN, N.C. — A Troutman woman was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart on Glenway Drive.
According to Statesville Record and Landmark, Tamara Sheppard was airlifted to Carolinas Medical Center.
The investigation is still ongoing.
But police said they believe Jess Brown Jr. of Statesville was the driver who hit Sheppard.
