Woman hospitalized after shot in face

One woman is in the hospital this Sunday after police said her boyfriend shot her in the face in west Charlotte.

Officers responded to a shooting early Sunday morning at an apartment complex on Northstream Drive.

Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they are working on getting warrants to make an arrest.
