CHARLOTTE — Cancer survivor Shavonda Courts, 36, and her two-year-old daughter had a dream that came true, a trip to Disney World.
“It was breathtaking, honestly,” Courts said. “I am still on cloud nine about the trip. I was so happy to conquer this milestone with her and take her to Disney.”

Courts tries to make every day a fairytale ending, because of everything she’s been through.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 28 years old and five years later, she got it a second time. This time she was pregnant.
