CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Women who shop in Southpark are reacting to what happened in a parking deck at 4400 Sharon Road.

A 25-year-old woman was walking in the deck at Southpark Mall on Sunday when she said a man grabbed her by her hip and took a photograph up her skirt. He then ran off.

    “It’s creepy,” Jackie Kirkman said.

Some women Channel 9 spoke with say they’ll be paying close attention to the people around them in parking decks. They hope police get the suspect off the streets.

“I think that's just horrible that he did that,” Mary Babcock said. “It is scary.”

So far, police have not made any arrests.
