CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the person who opened fire on a north Charlotte home early Saturday morning hitting a woman inside.
Officers said someone fired shots just before 2 a.m. into a home on Sunstone Drive off Statesville Road while 2 women and a 9-year-old boy were inside.

One of the women was shot in the leg, but is expected to be OK.
Police released surveillance pictures of a car they believe may be connected to the shooting. The car appears to have a mismatched front right quarter panel.
