DURHAM., N.C. — Two people have been killed in a two-vehicle, wrong-way crash on Interstate 85 in Durham.
Police spokesman Wil Glenn said in a news release that the wreck in the northbound lanes about 12:15 a.m. Monday.
Police say the head-on collision killed the driver of each vehicle.
One other person was hurt. Three children were not seriously injured.
The names of the victims have not been released.
I-85 reopened around 5:15 a.m.
