Panthers center Kalil out for season with foot injury

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil is out for season with a foot injury.

Kalil was placed on IR on Wednesday, Panthers officials confirmed.

Kalil's injury is described as a Lisfranc injury, which is an injury of the mid-foot.

He suffered the injury in the Panthers loss to Seattle on Sunday.

The three-time Pro Bowl center took out a full-page ad before the season guaranteeing a Super Bowl victory.
