• Parents Weigh In On Union County School Redistricting

None - Parents and students packed a Union County school board meeting on Thursday night to weigh in on a controversial redistricting plan.

The superintendent wants the school board to lift enrollment caps at Porter Ridge middle and high schools.

The superintendent says lifting the cap would save money.

But most of the parents who spoke up Thursday night did not support his plan.

The school board is expected to make its decision at next Thursday's meeting.
