• Police: 3 charged with attacking woman, forcing her to drive to ATM

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police have charged three teens with jumping a woman and forcing her to drive to an ATM.

    Police released photos of two 16-year-olds connected to the crime.

    Jashari Billups, Joshua Lowery and another juvenile are facing several charges in last week’s attack.

    All three were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit second-degree kidnapping, first-degree sex offense, and conspiracy to commit first-degree sex offense, a police report states.

    The victim said the three boys attacked her as she was leaving work on Executive Center Drive in east Charlotte.
