• Police believe they found missing DJ's body

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police think they found the body of the Charlotte disc jockey missing for more than two months.

Police were responding to another accident, near the I-485/ I-77 interchange. They saw the car of Max Espinoza, 36, upside down and believe he was the victim inside. The autopsy report should make it official.

His ex-wife, Jessica Espinoza, called him "a genuine, just good guy." They had been divorced for three years. But you wouldn't know it talking to her. You can just hear the soft spot she still has for him. She said, "He will leave a huge hole in all of our lives."

Jessica Espinoza was the one who became worried back in May, when Espinoza was the disc jockey at a private party in Ballantyne and wasn't seen until Monday. Max Espinoza leaves behind a lot of family in Ecuador and two daughters, ages 8 and 4, in Concord. Espinoza said, "The oldest, I think, took in as much as she was able at this point and I’m sure it will be something that we talk about a lot."

She said he saw his girls three times every week and if she needed chicken soup, Espinoza dropped everything to go get it. But that all changed these past two months, so the girls knew something was wrong, especially when he missed Father's Day. According to Espinoza, her 8-year-old daughter said, "I'm afraid that he's never going to come back because why would he miss Father's Day with us?"

Now, as Espinoza plans to look for the words to explain to them what happened, she asks people to pray for them.
