Rowan County residents to protest animal gas chambers

ROWAN COUNTY —
A rally is scheduled for Monday in Salisbury to push to remove gas chambers for animals.

Residents will be rallying outside of the Rowan County Courthouse.

Rowan County is one of a few counties left in North Carolina that still uses gas chambers to euthanize cats and dogs. The last rally was held in November.

Monday's rally will start at 4:30 p.m.
