BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. — Waffles and Hemingway will continue to live together in harmony.

The miniature horse and his goose soul mate have finally found a new home, WFMZ reported.

"Everything they've gone through, they've gone through together," Rachael Freeman told WTXF. "So for us to bring them in here and separate them would have been pretty detrimental."

They had shared a barn stall at their original home, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Waffles and Hemingway were picked up Wednesday by their new owner, who wished to not be identified, the newspaper reported.

Waffles and Hemingway have left our barn for their new home! Waffles hopped right in and was ready to go with his best buddy by his side. We will miss them, but we couldn’t be happier for this special pair. They went home with wonderful adopters who are experienced with horses and have a variety of farm animals waiting to meet Waffles and Hemingway. You haven’t seen the last of them. We are excited that their tale of friendship through thick and thin will be told in an upcoming video on The Dodo. For now, we wish them a good night in their new home.
