A massive 60-foot tall robot named “Giant Gundam Yokahama” and resembles “Mobile Suit Gundam,” an anime show from the late 1970s, is now operational, CNN reported.
The 25-ton machine is considered the world’s largest robot and has 24-degrees of freedom, an incredible range of movement, Popular Mechanics reported. This means it can walk, kneel, move its head from side to side and use its fingers to make hand signals, video shows.

It has been under construction since January, Popular Mechanics reported. It is the main exhibit for the Gundam Factory Yokohoma and was set to open in October. Because of the pandemic, the attraction opening was pushed back; however, it is expected to open within the year, Gundam Factory officials said.
