Coronavirus: Dollar General to hire 50,000 to deal with demand

The demand is up and now Dollar General is planning on hiring workers to deal with the increased number of shoppers.

Company officials announced they are looking to hire 50,000 people by the end of April, Market Watch reported.

It is about double the company’s normal hiring rate, RTT News reported.

The new hires are expected to fill temporary positions, Market Watch reported.

Dollar General has more than 16,300 stores in 45 states.
