LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A Florida hospital worker is behind bars after authorities said he sucked on a patient’s toes.

According to WFTS-TV, Frantz Beldorin, 23, a sitter at Fort Myers’ Gulf Coast Hospital, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of battery on a senior citizen, Lee County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies said the victim, who had been sleeping, awoke late Monday after something came in contact with the patient’s foot. The victim later felt moisture on their toes and saw Beldorin kneeling beside the bed, WFTS reported.

Beldorin was booked at the Lee County Jail, authorities said.

The patient alerted a nurse, and deputies arrived to investigate the case, according to the news outlet.
