The batteries will be made for new Ford and Lincoln electric vehicles and will be the largest manufacturing investment made by Ford in company history.

They will also be some of the largest factories in the world.

The car factory will be built in Stanton, Tennessee, and will cost $5.6 billion. When complete, F-Series electric pickups will roll off the production lines.

As for the batteries, the joint venture between Ford and SK Innovation will be called BlueOvalSK and will consist of two battery factories in Glendale, Kentucky and one in Memphis, Tennessee, the AP reported.
