ODESSA, Texas — A Texas woman is facing charges after police said she shot a man multiple times.
Stephanie Tuell was arrested shortly after police found Joe Abril shot multiple times inside an Odessa home, KWES reported.
A police report obtained by KMID said that Tuell called 911 to report that she’d shot her husband after finding him doing something inside their home, but the specifics were redacted. Tuell was allegedly waiting for officers in the front yard when police arrived and said to them, “I wish I was sorry, but I’m not,” KMID reported.
After officers read Tuell her rights, she said to police, “No one messes with my kids,” according to an affidavit obtained by KWES. According to the affidavit, Abril had multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and one to the back of his head.
Tuell was charged with first degree murder and was taken to jail, with her bond set at $100,000, KMID reported.
