The company has temporarily shut down its offices and has given more than 700 staff members the week off, CNN reported. A few customer service support staff will be working if there are any issues with the system, but they will get a week of leave later in the year, BBC News reported.

The initiative was announced in April, but put into effect this week, CNBC reported.

Four-day work weeks are being tested by Microsoft and Unilever in some offices, CNN reported.

LinkedIn also gave 16,000 employees a week off in April after employee surveys showed that workers were burned out.

“I think the reality of the weight of the pandemic really took its toll,” Teuila Hanson, LinkedIn’s chief people officer, told CNN earlier this year. “What we think is most valuable right now is time for all of us to collectively walk away.”
