Landon Lucas, 18, started to experience engine trouble around 12:38 p.m. while flying a banner for Paramount Air Service near the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, WCAU reported.

Lucas released the banner over the water and tried to return to the Ocean City Municipal Airport when he saw a break in traffic near the Route 52 Causeway and landed, WPVI reported.
