• Warm weather, sunshine leaving Charlotte area

    By: John Ahrens

CHARLOTTE - Sunday night will see partly cloudy skies with comfortable low temperatures in the 50s. The Monday morning drive will not have any weather-related issues.

Clouds and rain will be moving in later Monday, putting an end to the viewing area’s warm weather stretch. Showers will approach the region during the day on Monday, but most of the rain will be west of Charlotte.

After midnight into Tuesday a steadier rain will move in. The top weather threat Tuesday looks to be heavy rain. Severe weather chances are low.

Temperatures will be cooler for the rest of the week. Low temperatures on Thursday morning will be in the upper 30s.
