What do I do to send a press release of upcoming event or send photos to your news department?

Please email your press release (with detailed information to include date/time/location/contact person/contact phone number) to assignment@wsoc-tv.com or fax press release to (704) 335-4736.We cannot promise or guarantee news coverage of any event simply because we do not know what is going to happen from day to day--- and don't know what news events we will need to cover. That is determined each day. The news editors will be in touch -- via e-mail --- if we are in need of further information.

How can I get a VHS or DVD copy of a news story?

If you would like to get a copy of a news story that has aired on either WSOC-TV or TV64, you can call (704) 335-4975 for information on how to get copies of our stories.You can also click here for more information. There is a charge to get copies of our stories on tape.

How can I find online a news story that has aired?

In Search, type in a specific word of the story and enter. Please note, not all stories aired on Channel 9 or TV64 are posted on the web.

Do you offer tours of your studio?

No, we're sorry, but we are not able to offer tours.

What do I need to do to request a visit by one of your anchors/reporters/meteorologists to my school or organization?

Visits to schools and organizations are made by WSOC-TV personnel throughout the year. Please submit your request through our Talent Request form. Click here for the link.
