Big 22 player Darian Roseboro chooses Michigan

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Big 22 player Darian Roseboro will play college football at Michigan next year.

Roseboro announced his decision in a press conference Friday at Lincolnton High School.

The 4-star defensive end had a lengthy list of big names schools to choose from: UNC, N.C. State, Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson and Michigan.

WSOC-TV sports anchor Phil Orban was at Lincolnton High School and talked to Roseboro shortly after the announcement.

Roseboro said he felt Michigan was best fit for him, and his family and that he liked the coaches.

He also said his second choice was N.C. State, and that it was a tough decision between the Wolfpack and Michigan.

Roseboro will do early enrollment at Michigan and will head to Ann Arbor in January.
