Local athletes commit on National Signing Day

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — National Signing Day has become a national holiday around the country and has increased in popularity each year.

National Signing Day is Wednesday.

Every year in the beginning of February, athletes from around the country make very important decisions for their futures: what university they will attend and what uniform they will wear.

Dozens of Charlotte-area athletes chose which hat to don on Wednesday.  Channel 9 had cameras all over the area.

We have also included all of the 2013 WSOC-TV "BIG 22" players, sponsored by OrthoCarolina, and where they are headed next year below.
