• Northwest Cabarrus player released from the hospital Saturday

    CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. - On Friday night Northwest Cabarrus football player Kendall Coughenour was injured during his team's game against West Rowan.

    Coughenour's Coach Rich Williams said Coughenour had feeling in all of his extremities and that his trainer with went him to the hospital to run more tests.

    Coughenour injured his neck, experienced numbness in his face and tingly.

    On Saturday, Coughenour was released from the hospital and all of his tests came back negative.
