Winning an IIHS Top Safety Pick is a huge deal in the automotive industry – it’s a great achievement and an excellent reflection of a vehicle’s safety performance. IIHS awards include N Charlotte Toyota models 

IIHS (Insurance Institute of Highway Safety) picks the winners based on a series of crash tests and the resulting performance that the car provides. They test side impact, rollover, rear impact, and both small and moderate overlap frontal crash. The car in question must rank well in all tests or it’s not eligible for the Top Safety Pick designation. What exactly does a Top Safety Pick mean? Basically, it means that the car performs well in terms of safety and crash-worthiness!
