...DENSE FOG ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
...LAKE WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 4 AM EST
* VISIBILITIES...One quarter of a mile.
* WINDS...Light winds this morning becoming southwest and
increasing to 15 to 20 knots with gusts 25 to 30 knots on area
lakes this afternoon. Winds will shift to west tonight with
gusts around 25 knots on area lakes.
* TIMING...Fog this morning, breezy this afternoon and tonight.
* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will
create hazardous conditions for small craft.
A Lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
