The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a

* Until 900 AM EDT Friday.
* At 930 PM EDT, the headwater tributaries into Rocky River,
including Mallard Creek, Coddle Creek, Clark Creek, Back Creek,
and Reedy Creek have crested and are now receding. However, high
flows continue to move downstream into the Rocky River and the
river continues to rise. Minor Flooding will continue along the
Rocky River below Harrisburg to Georgeville to Midland through
tonight. Therefore the Flood Warning will remain in effect.
* Minor Flooding is flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to streams.
These areas include greenways, parks, farmland, boat access ramps,
low-water crossings, and a few secondary roads. Please avoid
streams, adjacent areas, and barricaded roads until the high flows
have fully receded and the barricades have been removed.
