Light snow fell Monday evening across the northern mountains, and any lingering light snow showers will continue to diminish. A few locations did report a dusting of snow on grassy areas and less traveled roadways. Combined with temperatures at or below freezing expected overnight, icy road conditions/patchy areas of black ice are possible, especially on bridges and overpasses, where snow was able to melt and will refreeze tonight and/or where isolated areas of light snow accumulation occurred. Motorist are urged to use caution while traveling, especially at night when it is more difficult to see ice on roadways. $$
