Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Kershaw, Lancaster and Fairfield Counties. The Flood Warning continues for the Wateree River At Lake Wateree. * Until late Friday night. * At 9:00 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 100.8 feet. * Flood stage is 100.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Friday morning and continue falling to 98.6 feet Monday morning. * Impact...At 100.4 feet, The piers on the Wildlife Road bridge over Singleton Creek become submerged. * Impact...At 100.5 feet, Several yards and docks in low lying areas around Lake Wateree begin to flood.
