$10,000 reward offered in case of missing Charlotte trio

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Family and friends of three people missing in a mysterious case spent Sunday posting fliers throughout east Charlotte.

Sandy Le, 23, was last seen at a QT on Eastway Drive Tuesday night.

A private investigator hired by the family told Channel 9 text messages indicate she was meeting Alex Castillo, 17, of Charlotte. Sandy hasn’t been seen since.

The next day, Castillo and his girlfriend, Ahmia Feaster, 19, also disappeared.

“I’m here. I’m looking for you and I will not stop. I’m looking for all three,” said Alex’s mother.

On Saturday, Alex’s mother received a glimpse of hope in the form of a phone call. The number was listed as restricted but at the other end of the line was her son.

“He said only, 'I’m okay, I’m okay,' but I don’t believe it,” she said.

Feaster’s family reported receiving a similar call. The families said both teens said they didn’t know where they were.

The calls came on the same day police located Feaster’s car in a neighborhood known as Reedy Creek Plantation.

No one has heard from Le and investigators have yet to locate her car.

“We need her back with us,” said Bobby Le, who is Sandy’s uncle.

Channel 9 was with Le's family as they printed off dozens of new fliers Sunday afternoon. The flier shows the family is now offering a $10,000 reward for information that will lead them to the young woman who is known for her giving heart.

“Her Dad has been driving around,” said Bobby Le. “He’s not been sleeping.”

Le’s father was also present during the interview but spoke little English. His son translated this message to his daughter: "Daughter, I hope you’re OK. Everyone in the house is waiting for you to come home.”

Le is an Asian female standing at 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 110 pounds. She was last seen in her black 2003 Toyota Corolla with NC tags ZVE 1262.

Feaster is a black female standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing approximately 119 pounds.

Castillo is a Hispanic male standing 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 180 pounds.
