LILESVILLE, N.C. — There are new developments about a former police chief on Saturday morning who is now charged with two felonies.
Kevin Mullis turned himself in on warrants for embezzlement and larceny.
The SBI was investigating him for $2,000 missing from the Lilesville Police Department.
He was the chief there when the money disappeared.
Mullis will be back in court on April 19.
