Lincoln County sinkhole causes crash

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — A 20-foot sinkhole on a Lincolnton road is expanding, officials said.

The city is trying to figure out how to fix the problem, which caused a driver to crash Monday night.

In the video at the top of this web page, Eyewitness News reporter Ken lemon is at the road closure on Edwards Street. Lemon spoke to the driver Tuesday, who said he feels lucky to be alive.
