CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are questioning a suspect after one person was shot late Sunday night in east Charlotte.
The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. on Nicks Tavern Road near North Sharon Amity Road and Shamrock Drive.
Medic told Channel 9 that a man was shot and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
Channel 9 was there as police gathered evidence and officers said both men knew each other.

Police told Eyewitness News that they have the shooter in custody but have not released any names or a motive.
