KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — The northbound lanes of Interstate 85 in Kannapolis were closed for hours after a tractor-trailer overturned overnight.
Troopers told Channel 9 that the big rig crashed around 1:30 a.m. at mile marker 58, near Copperfield Boulevard.
Police have closed the northbound lanes near exit 60 and said that crews were having to unload the trailer, which was hauling canned goods, before they could reopen the road.
