WADESBORO, N.C. — Three people were shot and another person was injured with broken glass Sunday night in Wadesboro, police said.
State Bureau of Investigation officials are helping investigate the shooting at Myrtle Apartments on Myrtlewod Drive.
The suspect is in the hospital, police said.
The father of one of the victims told Channel 9 that the shooting was reported during a fight between a group of boys in the parking lot.
“The young black guys doing what they are doing it needs to stop. I preach to my boys all the time about it. But you know, it happened,” the victim’s father said.
All the victims are expected to recover.
